A quiz is a form of game or mind sport in which players attempt to answer questions correctly about a certain or variety of subjects. Quizzes can be used as a brief assessment in education and similar fields to measure growth in knowledge, abilities, or skills.

A quiz is a quick and informal assessment of student knowledge. Quizzes are often used in North American higher education environments to briefly test a students' level of comprehension regarding course material, providing teachers with insights into student progress and any existing knowledge gaps.
The definition of a quiz is a questioning or a short test. An example of a quiz is a series of ten multiple choices questions for students to answer.

You can create the following types of quiz questions: 
  • [1] Multiple Choice.
  • [2] True/False.
  • [3] Fill-in-the-Blank.
  • [4] Fill-in-Multiple-Blanks.
  • [5] Multiple Answers.
  • [6] Multiple Drop-down (can be used for Likert scale)
  • [7] Matching
  • [8] Numerical Answer.
  • 10 rounds in quiz. Each round has a theme. Each question is worth 1 point in all rounds bar the last (where there is 3 points per question) allowing for a maximum of 120 points at the end of the quiz.                                                                                                                                   High School  level The Game: There are 4 rounds of gameplay on High School Quiz Show: Toss-up, Head-to-Head, Category, and Lightning. Questions: Varied topics; open-ended and multiple choice (questions may include visual or audio clues).

  • In the buzzer round of quiz contests, the question is thrown open to all the teams. The person who knows the answer hits the buzzer first and then answers the question. Sometimes two or more players hit the buzzer almost simultaneously and it is very difficult to detect which of them has pressed the buzzer first
  • How to make a fun and informative quiz and game for students? 
      1. [1] Keep it short and simple, don't complicate the quiz more than needed.

      3. [3]Don't make the questions too easy and don't make the answers too tricky.
