Babli Bouncer is about the titular Babli Tanwar (Tamannaah Bhatia), a girl from the Asola-Fatehpur Beri twin villages near Delhi, which are known as the village of bouncers. The pehelwans of these villages work as bouncers in the nightclubs of Delhi-NCR. And Babli follows suit as a ‘lady bouncer’. Her motivation is to escape marriage and meet a cute Delhi boy she saw at a village function. The film then shows Babli’s growth as she re-evaluates her life choices and learns to prioritise what matters.

Tamannaah is earnest and surprisingly looks the part as Babli. She has the unenviable task of carrying the film on her shoulders and does it well. Without her charm, the film would have been unwatchable in parts. But she does well, capturing the physicality of the rustic Babli well. She does falter with the emotional bits but thankfully, has the support of some wonderful actors who fill the gaps. Saurabh Shukla as Babli’s father is sublime as well. Sahil Vaid as her smitten betrothed Kukku, a bouncer himself, is charming and pretty much the story’s moral compass. The other actors do their part well, particularly Abhishek Bajaj, who plays Babli’s love interest Viraj.

The film gets better in the second half after Babli’s epiphany and as she transforms into someone who is more focused on ‘apne pairon pe khada hona’. The transformation is much needed but comes quite late, if you ask me. And even then, the challenges Babli faces or the way she handles situations requires more common sense than heroic. And the inclusion of random jokes in some tense situations, almost always delivered in the Haryanavi twang, should be sent back to 2002 where it belongs.

Cyrus Mistry-A Big Loss For TATA

MUMBAI, Sept 4 (Reuters) - Cyrus Mistry, the 54-year-old former chairman of Indian conglomerate Tata Sons, died in a road accident near financial capital Mumbai on Sunday, Indian police said.

New Delhi: Cyrus Mistry, who succeeded Ratan Tata as chairman of Tata Sons but was later ousted in India's most high-profile boardroom coup, was killed in a car accident in Maharashtra's Palghar on Sunday, said police. He was 54. Mr Mistry was travelling from Gujarat's Udwada to Mumbai in a Mercedes car, it added.

Mistry owned an 18.4% stake in Tata Sons through his company, Cyrus Investments. In 2018, his net worth was about $10bn.'.

Mistry was married to Rohiqa Chagla, the daughter of lawyer Iqbal Chagla and granddaughter of jurist M.C. Chagla. Iqbal Chagla has strategized the course of action for Cyrus Mistry in the legal battle against The Tata Sons. The couple has two sons, Firoz Mistry and Zahan Mistry.

According to the police, the car, he was travelling in, was being driven by a well-known gynecologist from Mumbai. There were two other passengers in the car as well, the gynecologist's husband Darius Pandole and his brother Jahangir.

Dr Anahita Pandole is the sister-in-law of the deceased Jehangir Pandole. Mistry was behind her in the back seat of the Mercedes car, and Jehangir Pandole was sitting next to him. Both men died of internal injuries. There were four people in the vehicle, of which two, including Mistry, died on the spot.

All the cars have rear seat belts as per government regulation, but very few people use them, it is an illusion that the rear is very safe. 

During the time of crash the person behind is sometimes thrown at a force of 40G (40 times the gravity, which means the person weighing 80kgs will be like 3200kgs). 

If the front passenger is wearing seat belt and rear passenger is not, during the time of crash the front passenger is likely to be severely injured or killed due to the rear passenger falling with a weight of an elephant.
