Spell B -How To Organize It

A spelling bee is a competition help children improve their spelling, increase their vocabulary, and develop correct English usage Macmilan (2012:3). They also help build children's self-confidence and more importantly, they are a lot of fun. Accurate spelling is one of the sub-skills of writing.

a spelling contest in which contestants are eliminated as soon as they misspell a word.
The concept of young people competing to spell words goes back to at least 1808 - but it is likely that there were informal competitions long before then. The 'bee' in spelling bee is likely derived from the old English word 'bēn' or 'bene' which at various times meant 'prayer', 'favour' or 'help given by neighbours'.
Steps to a Successful Spelling Bee
  1. [1] Memorize the words that might be asked in the spelling bee by using Home Spelling Words.
  2. [2] Have a friend or family member give you words to spell in a mock spelling bee style so you can get used to how it feels to spell out loud in front of people.[3]  Enjoy the process of learning!
  3. Pair difficult words with ones you're familiar with to give yourself a break between challenging spellings. Work until you master how to spell each word on your list for that given day. Revisit words after a week to see if you can spell them correctly again.
  4. Preparing for the Scripps National Spelling Bee: What parents need to know
    1. [1] Study – but don't let your child burn out! .
    2. [2]Don't just study words. .
    3. [3] Focus on root words AND the oddballs. .
    4. [4] Practice public speaking.
    5. [5] Choose the right coach (or none at all)
    6. [6] Practice spelling 15-20 words every day.

    11. [4] Autochthonous.
    12. [5] Appoggiatura.
    13. Some Rules
    14. [1] If letters or their sequence is changed in the re-spelling, the speller will be eliminated. In other words, a speller cannot correct himself, even while it is still his or her turn.
    15. [2] During the contest, each participant will have to spell out 10 (ten) words given by the pronouncer. Participants are not allowed to hold any writing tools and paper. Each participant will be given 30 (thirty) seconds to think and spell each word.
    16. [3] The spelling bee is conducted in rounds where each student spells one word per round. It begins with the whole class. Word lists for the Bee are selected from the lists generated by Scripps. Each spelling will be run by two adults: a judge and a pronouncer.
    17. .[4] .The Spelling Bee will have three rounds of competition: Easy, Intermediate, and Advanced words. If we have a tie at the end, I have three sudden death words to determine the winner.
    18. [5] They can ask for alternate pronunciations, parts of speech, definitions or for you to use the word in a sentence. At the school-level, they can also ask for information about the word's origin. Each answer, found right there in your Competition List, is a clue to help your student spell correctly.
    19. [6] Each of grade-level spelling bee lists contain 100 - 120 words, arranged generally from easiest to most difficult. Each word list can be used on its own for a classroom spelling bee or for practice for a larger competition. Prepare list which  are just a few words from longer lists of 100 grade-level spelling bee words.
    20. HOW TO CONDUCT
    21. 1. The pronouncer announces the word to be spelled. He speaks slowly and clearly, without distorting the normal pronunciation of the word. He uses the word in a sentence and says the word again.                                  2. The speller listens carefully to the pronouncer and asks for the word to be repeated if necessary.
    22. 3. When the speller is sure she understands the word, she pronounces it, spells it and then says the word again. She must say it loudly enough for the judge to hear it.                                                                                         4. The judge(s) determines whether or not the word was spelled correctly.

Such are, for instance, the songs which accompany the events of the life-cycle-birth, initiation, marriage, and death.Relo is among the popular tribal songs of Madhya Pradesh.                                                                SOLO SONG 2                                                                                                                                                SOLOI SONG 3

1 or plural soli\ ˈsō-(ˌ)lē \ a : a musical composition for a single voice or instrument with or without accompaniment. b : the featured part of a concerto or similar work. 2 : a performance in which the performer has no partner or associate : something undertaken or done alone a student pilot's first solo.

In Bastar, the Muria and Sing Maria tribes are known for the songs called relo, which are sung by children. The same region is home to the dhankul songs associated with invoking Danteshwari, a goddess, and the seasonal chait parah. Around Jagdalpur, leha songs are popular.
A tribe is a group of people who live and work together in a shared geographical area. A tribe has a common culture, dialect and religion. ... A tribal society is a group of tribes organized around kinships. Tribes represent a part in social evolution between bands and nations.
They accept a world-view in which nature, human beings and God are intimately linked and they believe in the human ability to spell and interpret truth. They live more by intution than reason, they consider the space around them more sacred than secular, and their sense of time is personal rather than objective.
There is actually a difference. Where folk music is a mere rustic reflection of the larger Indian society, tribal music often represents cultures that are very different. Some of these tribal cultures are throwbacks to cultural conditions as they were thousands of years ago.
