Dust Of Snow By Robert Frost - An Analysis

Where is imagery used in dust of snow?

In Robet Frost's poem, „Dust of Snow”, he portrays the image of a snowy winter day. As he is walking down a snow covered street, a playful crow shakes the freshly fallen snow from a hemlock tree onto him. This falling snow serves as an awakening for the narrarator for he begins to appreciate his awful day.

They are essential tools that a poet uses to create rhythm, enhance a poem's meaning, or intensify a mood or feeling.

Answer: The dust of snow is the symbol of natural joy and energy. The dust of snow that the crow shakes off a hemlock tree means passing through the sad and depressing moments the poet is entering into the time full of joy and optimism
In stanza 1, the poetic device 'inversion' is used. Enjambment: In enjambment, the same sentence continues to the next line without the use of any punctuation marks. This poem is very good example of this poetic device. It has been used throughout the poem.
