Though we have a institute like International Institute of Sport Management but in many parts of world it is neglected area. It is needed to make people aware about sports management. We have to make them realize that here is a career option one can consider. We have to make people believe that a successful career in sports management is possible even after one graduates in other streams. We have to design career graph in the sport industry It will take sometime to take parents and students through this journey of understanding can create career path in sport management such as sales and marketing, sponsorships ,operations ,event management and logistics to name a few. we  have to get parents, students, organizations and other stakeholders in the sports industry on the same platform and create a smooth pathway. Let us discuss the stable jobs in the sports industry. There are two aspects here as well. one hand ,we have stable and secure jobs created by government, media houses or corporates. The governments and sport authorities are coming up with excellent initiatives by offering jobs in their organizations. Federations and bodies are now accepting qualified professionals. However ,the biggest recruiters are the grassroot developer or entrepreneurs -the start -ups. Not only do those start-ups create job opportunities but also instill belief belief within the students that they too can become entrepreneur in the sport industry It. Schools and colleges should create entrepreneurship cell to encourage interested candidates in sports management. (2)The avenues in the sports industry: While grassroot development creates the most development opportunities, there are so many other things one can do in the sports industry. While millions are engrossed in the cricketing action ,there are more than 2000 -plus other people ,most of whom, are sport management professionals, working behind the scenes so that match takes place seamlessly. For one athlete to compete in the Olympics, we need hundreds of people-from coaches to nutritionist ,to those who manage travel and logistics-every thing else which works behind the scene. Those who work behind the scenes are also sports heroes as they play a part in making it all possible. The success we see on the field is only the tip of the iceberg.
