International Women's Day

International Women's Day 2022: Every year, March 8 is marked as International Women's Day across the globe. The day celebrates the cultural, political, and socio-economical achievements of women and girls. Women are breaking barriers and achieving the impossible every single day.

This is how International Women's Day came to existence. International Women's Day was first observed in Austria, Denmark, Germany and Switzerland in 1911, following a consensus reached in Copenhagen, Denmark. Later, it was decided that March 8 would be universally recognised as the International Women's Day
