The aspirant must haveThe first Agnipath entry rally bharti will start from Sep – Oct 2022.

 qualified class 10th and 12th from a recognized board. The probationers must possess a graduation degree from the known University. The applicant must be a citizen of India.

Under this scheme both men and women between the ages of 17.5 and 21 will be brought into the armed forces.

What is the salary package under this scheme? The 1st year salary package of Rs 4.76 lakh with upgradation of up to Rs 6.92 lakh in 4th year While post release, Seva Nidhi package is of approx. Rs 11.71 lakh, including interest (tax free)There's also a non-contributory insurance cover of Rs 48 lakh.

The Seva Nidhi package will be exempt from income tax. A non-contributory life insurance cover of Rs 48 lakh for the duration of their engagement period  provided.

 Agniveers will be imparted with various military skills and experience, along with    discipline, physical fitness, and leadership qualities.Agnipath Scheme 2022: The historic ‘Agnipath Scheme’ was approved by the Cabinet Committee on June 14, 2022. Under the ‘Agnipath Scheme’, Indian youngsters will be provided with an opportunity to serve in the Indian Armed Forces. While unveiling the central scheme, Union Defence Minister Rajnath Singh said that Agnipath is a transformative initiative that will provide a youthful profile to the armed forces in the country.

Agnipath is a pan-India merit-based recruitment scheme for enrolling soldiers, airmen, and sailors. The central scheme aims at providing an opportunity for the youth of the country to serve in the regular cadre of the Indian Armed Forces.

Agnipath Scheme: What are the 5 key benefits of military recruitment scheme?

1. Agnipath Scheme will widely benefit the youth of the country. Those between the age of 17.5 years and 21 years will be inducted into the Indian Army, the Navy, and the Indian Air Force as Agniveers for 4 years. More than 46,000 will be recruited in 2022.

2. Agniveers will be paid a salary between Rs. 30,000 to Rs. 40,000 per month . They will also get an insurance cover of Rs. 48 lakh during the period.

  

3. On exiting the services, Agniveers will be given Rs. 11.71 lakhs as Seva Nidhi Package, which will be exempted from Income Tax. However, there will be no pensionary benefits.

4. The educational qualification of those applying for the Agnipath Scheme will be the same as the criteria for regular positions in the force. As per the criteria, the Indian Armed Forces will try to give a class 12 certificate to a class 10 student who joins as an agniveer.

5. On the completion of 4 years of service, about 25 percent of the Agniveers will be enrolled in the armed forces as the regular cadres for a minimum period of 15 years. Remaining Agniveers will get assistance from the armed forces for further employment avenues.

The protest erupted in the Unnao city of the state too where students and unemployed youth demanded that recruitment be done in the traditional way instead of a short-term contract. In Haryana, hundreds of young people took to the streets against the 'Agnipath' scheme on the day.

 Ramsay Hunt syndrome is a painful rash around the ear, on the face, or on the mouth. It occurs when the varicella-zoster virus infects a nerve in the head.

Ramsay Hunt syndrome is caused by the same virus that causes chickenpox. After chickenpox clears up, the virus still lives in your nerves. Years later, it may reactivate. When it does, it can affect your facial nerves.

Ramsay Hunt syndrome (RHS) is a rare neurological disorder characterized by paralysis of the facial nerve (facial palsy) and a rash affecting the ear or mouth. Ear abnormalities such as ringing in the ears (tinnitus) and hearing loss may also be present.

Ramsay Hunt syndrome is usually effectively treated, but some people may have permanent facial muscle weakness and hearing loss. The risk of complications drops significantly with prompt and proper treatment. The longer the person has to wait for treatment, the smaller the chances of making a complete recovery.

If there is not much damage to the nerve, you should get better completely within a few weeks. If damage is more severe, you may not fully recover, even after several months. Overall, your chances of recovery are better if the treatment is started within 3 days after the symptoms begin.

Ramsay Hunt syndrome isn't contagious. However, reactivation of the varicella-zoster virus can cause chickenpox in people who haven't previously had chickenpox or been vaccinated for it. The infection can be serious for people who have immune system problems.

Doctors often can identify Ramsay Hunt syndrome based on medical history, a physical exam, and the disorder's distinctive signs and symptoms. To confirm the diagnosis, your doctor might take a sample of fluid from one of the rash blisters in your ear for testing.

Consultation with an infectious disease specialist is recommended. If a structural lesion is discovered on imaging, consultation with a neurosurgeon or otolaryngologist is recommended. Consultation with an ophthalmologist to assist with eye care, especially pertaining to the cornea, may be appropriate.

Ramsay Hunt syndrome type 2 is caused by reactivation of varicella zoster virus in the geniculate ganglion. Patient often presents with facial nerve paralysis leading to facial droop, dry eyes, mouth and hearing loss.

 (1) No person shall be eligible for election as President unless he—

(a) is a citizen of India,

(b) has completed the age of thirty-five years, and

(c) is qualified for election as a member of the House of the People.

(2) A person shall not be eligible for election as President if he holds any office of profit under the Government of India or the Government of any State or under any local or other authority subject to the control of any of the said Governments.

Explanation.—For the purposes of this article, a person shall not be deemed to hold any office of profit by reason only that he is the President or Vice-President of the Union or the Governor of any State or is a Minister either for the Union or for any State

Electoral system

The President of India is indirectly elected by an electoral college consisting of the elected members of both houses of parliament, the elected members of the Legislative assemblies of the 28 states and the elected members of the legislative assemblies of the Union Territories of New Delhi, Puducherry and Jammu and Kashmir, Ladakh.

A total of 538 electors form the Electoral College. Each elector casts one vote following the general election. The candidate who gets 270 votes or more wins. The newly elected President and Vice President are then inaugurated on January 20th.

The number and value of votes are based on the population in 1971 rather than the current population, as a result of the 42nd Amendment, and extended by the 84th Amendment, with the intention to encourage family planning programs in the states by ensuring that states are not penalised for lowering their population ...

After so distributing the valid ballot papers polled by members of each State Legislative Assembly and the Members of the Parliament, the R.O. totals up the value of valid votes secured by each candidate. Quota = 50,000+1 = 50,001.

A candidate must receive 270 of the 538 electoral votes to become President or Vice President. If a candidate for President fails to receive 270 votes, the House itself will choose the President from among the three individuals who received the most electoral votes.

The value of votes cast by elected members of the state legislative assemblies and both houses of parliament are determined by the provisions of article 55(2) of the Constitution of India.
