Anne Frank - A Tale Of Girl With Dreams

Anne Frank has become a famous name because of her poignant diary, which has been translated into many languages. Anne Frank's diary describes the frightening period experienced by Anne, her family and friends in the annexe. It also expresses her hopes and aspirations for the future, which were never to be realised.

My Best Friend Anne Frank, based on Alison Leslie Gold's Memories of Anne Frank: Reflections of a Childhood Friend, stems from Goslar's account of their friendship. While the film is based on real life friendship, cinematic liberty is taken to play up or down some scenes.
On August 4, 1944, Anne Frank's family's hiding place was discovered by the Gestapo, and she was taken to Auschwitz in Nazi-occupied Poland before being transferred to Bergen-Belsen in Germany. According to the Dutch government, Anne died during a typhus epidemic in March 1945..
The conditions in the Bergen-Belsen concentration camp were horrible. The prisoners were hungry and cold, and many of them fell ill due to the poor hygiene in the camp. Anne became ill as well, with spotted typhus. Anne Frank died in February 1945.

Last words in Diary

Anne Frank captured. Acting on tip from a Dutch informer, the Nazi Gestapo captures 15-year-old Jewish diarist Anne Frank and her family in a sealed-off area of an Amsterdam warehouse. The Franks had taken shelter there in 1942 out of fear of deportation to a Nazi concentration camp.
“As I've told you many times, I'm split in two. One side contains my exuberant cheerfulness, my flippancy, my joy in life and, above all, my ability to appreciate the lighter side of things.
Willem Gerardus van Maaren (August 10, 1895 - November 28, 1971) was the person most often suggested as the betrayer of Anne Frank.
In 1960, the building at Prinsengracht 263, home to the Secret Annex, opened to the public as a museum devoted to the life of Anne Frank. Her original diary is on display there.
Margot writes that she is somewhat jealous of Anne's relationship with Peter, but only because she also wants someone with whom she can share her feelings. Anne is growing happier with her relationship with Peter but cannot fathom ever marrying him.Frank says "she puts me to shame" he is referring to... being ashamed of the way Anne treats people. being ashamed that he doesn't believe all people are basically good like Anne does.
