The National Institutional Ranking Framework (NIRF) is a methodology adopted by the Ministry of Education, Government of India, to rank institutions of higher education in India. The Framework was approved by the MHRD and launched by Minister of Human Resource Development on 29 September 2015.
NIRF ranking is one of the key decision criteria for taking admission in the institute. Education institute or university having higher NIRF Ranking can get more student admission interest.
NIRF Rankings List 2022 Updates: The Union Education Minister Dharmendra Pradhan released the National Institutional Ranking Framework (NIRF) Rankings 2022 today. The list is now available at the official website of the ranking platform – nirfindia.org.
NIRF 2017, however, still suffers from a methodological bias resulting in larger higher education institutions occupying more positions in the top 100.
NAAC accreditation is beneficial to University, Faculty members, Parents, Students, Alumni as well as Employers. √ University being accredited usually signifies that it has met certain standards of excellence across its operations
